The Seanachie Irish Pub

The Seanachie Irish Pub is the culmination of years of research through our experiences traveling abroad and operating three Traditional Public Houses (pubs) in Calgary.

When owners Allan Dixon and Mike Kuzyk sat down to design The Seanachie Irish Pub, their goal was to take the authenticity of old Ireland and meld it with what we know Calgarians expect from their local pub.

Smuggler's Inn

Smuggler’s Inn has been serving mouth watering Prime Rib and steaks to Calgarians and visitors for over 35 years. We age our select meats so that they are at their best for your enjoyment. Tango Bistro

Welcome to Tango Bistro, the newest addition to the family of restaurants in the Smuggler's Group. Joining Open Sesame, Bolero and of course Smuggler's Inn, Tango Bistro is a bold and fresh approach to casual dining that will redefine how you come to know food and wine. We offer guests a unique dining experience through progressive small plate meals. Built for sharing and sampling, our dishes are vibrant and varied and offer a chance to taste many flavors over the course of a meal.

We are very sensitive to allergens and want everyone to enjoy as much of our food as possible. We’ve tried to list most allergens on the menu guide but if you see something you like but are unsure of a certain ingredient, ask your server. They can find out from our always accessible chef if it can be made a different way, just for you!

Dixon's Public House

Dixon's Public House was established in 1994, when Allan Dixon purchased the Rusty Rudder and turned it into Dixon's. Dixon's is the original neighborhood pub in the deep south of Calgary. It has a warm, intimate atmosphere that caters to all ages, with plenty to do sporting action on multiple big screen TV's with HDTV & stereo sound, Dixon's also has NTN trivia, and VLT's. Newly renovated!

Joyce on 4th

The Joyce on 4th Irish Pub first opened its doors in 2001, and is the newest member of the Calgary's Best Pubs group.
This beautiful pub located on the lively 4th street welcomes you with warm atmosphere filled with rich wood work and offers an extensive menu, from appetizers to entrees, traditional fare to signature salads. Limericks Traditional Public House

Based on the vision of Allan Dixon and Mike Kuzyk, the Celtic style Pub first opened its doors in August of 1999. A wonderful combination of Irish, Scottish and Canadian styles, Limericks warm, inviting atmosphere, expansive menu and great staff cater to young and old alike.

The menu includes traditional fare such as Shepards Pie and Yorkshire Tidbits, to the contemporary wrap, the full menu really has something for everyones diverse tastes. A current selection of 45 Draught beer from 9 different countries makes Limericks a true draught house, we constantly update our selection to bring in the best the world (or Europe) has to offer.

The Kilkenny Irish Pub

Established in October 2000, by owners Allan Dixon and Mike Kuzyk, the Kilkenny represents what Irish pubs are renowned for-warm atmospheres, friendly service plenty of pints and rich hearty meals. Donegal Irish Pub

The newest jewel of the Calgaryâ€™s Best Pubs family â€“ Donegal Irish pub was over a year in the making. Donegal boasts stunning details such as extensive hand carved woodwork, Celtic floor mosaics, ornate chandeliers, and authentic custom glasswork from Ireland. The individual pub areas are named to reflect different areas of the county Donegal in Ireland. There is no better place to enjoy the merriment of The Green Isle than here!

Schooners Neighborhood Pub

Schooner's is one of Calgary's premier neighborhood pubs, serving local southwest communities including: Patterson Heights, Coach Hill, Strathcona, Christie Park, West Springs, Cougar Ridge, Discovery Ridge and Springbank.

We are over twenty years young, starting out as a seafood restaurant & pub in September, 1988. We soon realized we were having much too much fun on our pub side and converted the entire establishment into a neighborhood pub!

We always have something to keep our guests busy whether it be a friendly game of pool on one of our two pool tables, a game of darts, a spin at one of our ten video lottery terminals, playing Golden Tee or watching sports on our big screen HDTV.

Bolero Brazilian Fire Grill

At a Brazilian Style of Steak house each table uses a cue to control the pace of the meal.
The cue has a green side and a red side. The green side signals the Gaucho chefs to bring out skewers of sizzling fire-roasted meats to carve at the table. The red side indicates that you are either taking a break or are finished. Turning back to green will cue the Gaucho chefs to continue to offer the meats again.
